Inhibited glycol fluids, including DOWTHERM™, DOWFROST™ and DOWCAL™ inhibited glycol-based fluids contain specially formulated industrial inhibitor packages designed to prevent corrosion. Dow Industrial Coolants, sold under the tradenames NORKOOL™ and AMBITROL™, are specially formulated glycol-based products that protect circulating systems of large stationary engines, line heaters, and other water-cooled equipment from destructive corrosion, cavitation, and water freeze-up.
