New Off-List Price Announced for DOWFROST™ RV Winterization Fluid

Midland, MI - May 31, 2007

The Dow Chemical Company will increase the North American off-list prices of DOWFROST™ RV Heat Transfer Fluid effective July 1, 2007, or as contracts allow.  The price for DOWFROST™ RV will increase by US $.04 per pound.  This increase is driven by the escalating cost of raw petrochemical materials.

Background

DOWFROST™ RV Inhibited Propylene Glycol Winterization Fluid is used in applications where freeze and burst protection of pipes is required, including the winterization of RV or seasonal dwelling potable water plumbing systems, marine engine cooling water systems, inground pools and spas, and other water-based systems.  DOWFROST™ RV Fluid contains specially designed inhibitor packages that help prevent corrosion of metals commonly used in these systems.
