| 2008: | Dow celebrated 25 years of commitment to Habitat, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of Habitat's Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project (JRCWP). Dow recognized this legacy partnership by participating as a Gold Sponsor of the 2008 JRCWP in the Gulf Coast which rebuilt homes devastated by Hurricane Katrina. |
| 2007: | Dow Indonesia received Habitat for Humanity's prestigious Nehemiah Award for distinguished volunteer service at the organization's Asia-Pacific Leadership Conference in Singapore. |
| 2006: | Dow contributed $500,000 to Habitat for Humanity China for their Post Flood Rehabilitation program through Save and Build. Homes were rebuilt for 110 families in Guangdong Province in southern China. |
| 2004: | Dow pledged $100,000 for Habitat’s new Global Village & Discovery Center at Habitat for Humanity International's corporate headquarters. The Center is an interactive, educational experience that illustrates the housing transformation that partner families undergo to thrive in Habitat homes worldwide. Dow sponsored 2 houses and helped to develop an educational module about the building science. |
| 2003: | Dow became a National Underwriter for the Congress Building America program, which provides the opportunity for hundreds of low-income families to become homeowners. |
| 2001: | Dow became a Lifetime Cornerstone Society Member of Habitat for Humanity and a leader in the More Than Houses: Rebuilding our Communities Campaign. More Than Houses was Habitat's initiative to build 100,000 new homes by 2005. Dow committed to supply $5 million of STYROFOAMth Brand Insulation for the next 25,000 Habitat homes built in North America from 2002-2005. |
| 1997: | Dow renewed its commitment to be the exclusive supplier of rigid foam insulation for North America Habitat homes. The company announced a four-year financial commitment of $1 million for Habitat affiliates around the world to use for house sponsorship. |
| 1994: | Dow committed to be the official supplier of STYROFOAM™ Brand Insulation for all Habitat homes built in North America. |
