Responsible Care

Since Dow started operations in the region back in 1950s, we has brought world class environmental, health and safety (EH&S) standard and expertise to Greater China. We also actively promote the concept of Responsible Care®, a voluntary initiative within the global chemical industry to safely handle our products from inception in the research laboratory, through manufacture and distribution, to ultimate disposal.

As a committed participant and advocate of Responsible Care, Dow has adopted aggressive EH&S goals. These targets represent a vision of zero – no accidents, no injuries and no harm to the environment. Dow Greater China, and all other Dow locations around the globe, persistently strives to achieve these goals. We did this because we care about the safety of our people and neighbors.
