Vinylidene Chloride

Vinylidine chloride is used as a feedstock in the production of PVDC coatings and resins, fluorocarbons (140 series hydrochlorofluorocarbon and hydrofluorocarbons), and other industrial products. This product is sold both on a direct basis and through Aldrich Chemical. Both channels require product steward approval. Dow experts will provide new and existing customers with specific handling, storage and safety information.

Vinylidene chloride is shipped within North America in rail car, tank truck, and isocontainer quantities directly from the manufacturing facility in Freeport, Texas. Smaller returnable containers are available from Aldrich Chemical.
