Dow Announces Price Increases for Chlorinated Solvents in North America

Midland, MI - May 28, 2008

Effective July 1, or as contracts allow, The Dow Chemical Company ("Dow") is announcing a $0.04 per pound increase in list and off-list prices for all grades of Methylene Chloride and Chloroform, and $0.04 per pound in list and off-list prices for all grades of Perchloroethylene, including DOWPER™ solvent, and $0.08 per pound in list and off-list prices for all grades of Trichloroethylene, in North America (U.S., Canada, and Mexico). This increase applies to all bulk and packaged product grades and all solvents and intermediate applications.
