Dow's state-of-the-art analytical services laboratories perform routine solvent analysis, as well as specialized analysis when necessary, to ensure optimum performance of our customers' gas treating units.

The analysis is typically completed and a report is delivered to the customer within a few days. Specific guidelines are written for each client's solvent and unit, and these are compared against each sample analyzed in a written report to the customer. Dow's report will also include a technical interpretation of the results and their impact on the customer's operation, along with recommendations on any actions (if any) required by the customer. The report also includes historical data for each specific unit and/or solvent.

Dow has analytical capability in all the key regions, which minimizes the time between sampling and report generation. Dow also offers a unique sample shipment kit (free to customers) to further simplify the process. This kit is completely self-contained and provides everything necessary — from containers to labels — to obtain samples, seal them, and safely ship them to the laboratory for testing.
