Dow Raises Glycidyl Methacrylate Price in Asia Pacific

Hong Kong - July 17, 2007

Dow Epoxy, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company and its affiliates, is increasing the price for Glycidyl Methacrylate (GMA) by US$150.00 per metric ton in Asia Pacific. The increase is effective immediately, or as contract terms allow.

GMA, offered by Dow since the early 1990s, is a high purity, dual functionality monomer combining the chemical resistance of an epoxy with the weatherability of an acrylic. GMA is used in a wide selection of coating and resins applications in the automotive, electronics, civil engineering and industrial sectors.
