Dow Retirees Named to ACS Fellows Program
Two Dow retirees, Madan M. Bhasin and Wendell L. Dilling, as well as Rohm and Haas retiree James D. Burke, were recently honored as American Chemical Society (ACS) fellows. Up to this point, only about 0.2% of ACS members have been named to this distinguished program.
The ACS Fellows Program began in 2008 in order “to recognize members of ACS for outstanding achievements in and contributions to Science, the Profession, and the Society.” Eligibility requirements include being a member of ACS with good standing and contributions in two areas: excellence in science and/or one’s profession and commendable service as a member of ACS.
A current Dow employee, Catherine T. Hunt, was also named as an ACS fellow.
