Currently, there is no cure for Alzheimer’s, but treatment for symptoms, combined with support services, can make life better for people living with the disease.

Ellen Carbonell, MSW, LCSW, Associate Director of Family Programs for the Alzheimer’s Association, will discuss:

  • what is typical age-related memory loss and what is dementia?
  • the 10 warning signs critical to detecting a problem
  • the benefits of early detection and diagnosis
  • how to intervene
