Retiree Health Empowerment Program

Achieving and maintaining good health is a top priority for Dow, and our retirees are no exception. Our Retiree Health Empowerment Strategy extends Dow's culture of health to Dow, UCC, and DAS retirees and their spouses/partners across the United States.

Through the Retiree Health Empowerment Program, Dow is getting retirees more engaged in their health. Retirees are connected to information, activities, and programs that provide them the opportunity to take charge of their own health. "Empowered" retirees live healthier lifestyles, manage medications and health conditions more effectively, better communicate with health care providers, and are wiser health care consumers. Retirees who are engaged in their own health enjoy better quality of life and more cost-effective health care.

To learn more about how you can get engaged in the Retiree Health Empowerment Program, contact Leslie Sosebee, Retiree Health Promotion Coordinator, by e-mail at LSosebee@dow.com, or by phone at (281) 966-2839.

To begin receiving program news and announcements by e-mail, please complete the Retiree E-Mail Registration form - be sure to select "Yes, I would like to receive periodic news and information electronically from Dow."

2010 Retiree Health Empowerment Survey Results

In an online survey conducted in February, retirees overwhelmingly indicated that the Retiree Health Empowerment Program adds value to their wellbeing and their relationship with Dow.

The Retiree Health E-News articles (distributed by e-mail) are considered especially valuable. If you are not currently receiving the E-News or other information about the Program, complete the Retiree E-Mail Registration form (see above) to receive periodic news and information electronically from Dow.
