Texas Operations Announces 2009-2010 Education Grant Program

Dow Chemical, Texas Operations is proud to demonstrate our commitment to local public and private school education through the 2009-2010 Dow Education Grants Program.

The Dow Education Grants Program is designed to provide funding for educational projects promoting interest and excellence in math and science in public and private school campuses in Southern Brazoria County.

Each school can submit one application for a grant up to $10,000. The program is open to schools in Angleton Independent School District (AISD), Brazosport Independent School District (BISD), Columbia- Brazoria Independent School District (C-BISD), Danbury Independent School District (DISD) and Sweeny Independent School District (SISD). Private and Parochial schools in the Brazosport area are also eligible. Grant projects must be completed by the end of the 2010 calendar year.

A Selection Committee of Dow employees and external community members will determine the grant recipients. Recipients will be notified in December, 2009 and checks will be presented at a recognition ceremony in January.

Only one application per school campus will be accepted.
