Texas Operations Plant B Construction white space

Construction started on Texas Operations' Plant B in 1941. Since then Dow has invested billions of dollars into it, as well as Plant A and Oyster Creek.

We provide retiree pensions of more than $250 million for nearly 4,000 retirees residing in the county. Because our internal and external stakeholders depend heavily on our economic prosperity, it is critical that we sustain our gains in and outside the community.

Texas Operations pays more than $64.5 million in local taxes and provides nearly 50 percent of the funding for the local school district.

Dow's presence in the county and statewide attracts new industry and business, which helps foster economic growth. Our ongoing commitment to sustainable development will enable long-term value growth and a competitive advantage for Texas Operations and our stakeholders.
