During a tour of the Dow LHC 2 plant in Plaquemine on Wednesday March 29th, Angela Soma, a senior at Brusly High School, was given an inside look at what her future might hold. Angela is enrolled in the Process Technology (PTEC) program at Busly High and will attend Baton Rouge Community College in the fall for her PTEC Degree. To learn more about what the PTEC degree offers and the inner-workings of a chemical plant, Angela attended work with Dow Employee Fleta Ash. Throughout the two days Angela attended a personal tour of LHC 2, learned about the importance of safety at a chemical plant and met with many people throughout the Dow LAO site.
