Community Involvement

Dow believes the principles of sustainable development will ensure our world's economic, societal and environmental advancement today - without compromising the quality of life for future generations. Therefore, we focus our community outreach efforts on those programs and projects that align with sustainability to build better communities where our employees work and live.

Dow volunteers are actively involved in Habitat for Humanity, a program through which partner families are able to realize the American dream of owning a home. Here, a group of Dow employees celebrate the successful construction of a home for Nikki Fobb and family. The home was one of five houses built in one week during the “Good Neighbor Blitz Build.”

Building homes through Habitat for Humanity, collecting food for needy families, and supporting education initiatives that help students become leaders were just a few of the projects we focused on this year.
