Houston Operations in the Community

Houston Operations is actively involved in the community. Our employees are volunteers in many community organizations. We support the United Way each year with an annual employee giving campaign. In 2004 our employees raised over $32,000 for the United Way and a corporate gift of $15,000 made a total donation of over $47,600.

Employees volunteer at local schools as mentors and tutors. Each year Houston Operations sponsors a Dow Day at Baker Sixth Grade Campus. The day was created to reward students for their hard work on the state mandated test. Employees spend a fun filled day with the students playing games. The day is topped off with ice cream treats.
