Findlay operations has been a manufacturing unit of The Dow Chemical Company since 1959. Situated on 115 acres of land in northwest Ohio. The site is located on the north edge of Findlay, Ohio. Findlay operations produces both Films and Engineered Laminates products for the Films and Engineered Laminates Business, part of the Global Fabricated Products Business. The site operates on an around-the-clock basis to produce and ship globally products used in the tire retreading, automotive assembly, construction, medical packaging, wire shielding and telecommunications armoring.

The Engineered Laminates unit within Findlay operations has been ISO-9002 certified since 1993, and the Films unit is targeting certification in early 2000. Site-wide cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance was verified in 1998.
