Built in 1980, Dow Canada's West Coast Distribution Centre is the transfer point between the Fort Saskatchewan, AB manufacturing facility and customers in Asia, the Pacific Rim and on the West Coast. Three products manufactured at Fort Saskatchewan are stored at and distributed from the terminal - Dow's ethylene dichloride and caustic soda, and MEGlobal's ethylene glycol.
The terminal is a participant in a multi-company Company Community Advisory Panel on the North Shore.
