The Partners for Science Program is a hands-on, interactive science-based program that reaches approximately 9,000 elementary and 3,000 junior high students in more than 40 schools across the Elk Island Public and Catholic School Districts. In the last ten years, Dow provided over $300,000 (U.S.) in funding to the very effective and curriculum-aligned elementary program. As well, $200,000 (U.S.) in additional Dow funding was just used to expand the P4S program to the junior high level. Kids love hands on science in the Elk Island area and real results are being realized in both marks across the districts and classrooms full of very excited science students.

The Chemistry on Campus Program is a joint-partnership between Dow and the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) that brings Edmonton area grades six to 12 students into NAIT's state-of-the-art facilities to gain hands-on laboratory experience. Dow's contribution is used to implement this innovative, hands-on program in NAIT's new Centre for Chemical Studies laboratories. Chemistry on Campus has two program options - Chemistry by the Class which brings classes of students into the labs during the school year, or Chemistry Camps, three-day science camps that introduce students to chemistry through experiments, tours and other activities.
