At this plant near Antwerp, CELLOSIZE hydroxy ethyl cellulose (HEC) products are manufactured. These water-soluble polymers are used as thickeners for latex paints and adhesives, as viscosifiers in certain oil-drilling applications, and as protective colloids in the manufacture of latexes.

The plant is operated under contract by INEOS NV. Employees engage in activities related to purchasing raw materials, production planning, logistics, quality control, process research, developing new applications and providing technical service support to customers.
