Dow Building Solutions shows new technologies at Mosbuild exhibition

Dow Building Solutions, which is building a production plant near Moscow, is to present a number of new construction technologies and materials at the Mosbuild exhibition at Expocentre at Krasnaya Presnya, Moscow, on April 4-7.

This will be the first time that the Russian division of Dow Building Solutions, part of The Dow Chemical Company, an international leader in chemical and plastic products and services, will take part in Mosbuild, Russia's biggest construction industry trade event for buyers, contractors, architects and other professionals.

Participation at Mosbuild marks a further step in Dow Building Solutions' business strategy to reinforce its ten-year presence in the Russian market, and follows Dow's announcement in November 2005 of the construction of a plant in the village of Kryukovo, close to Moscow. The plant will produce STYROFOAM™ extruded polystyrene insulation boards (XPS) and other thermal insulation products designed to increase the energy efficiency of homes and commercial buildings.

Yury Golubev, Market Development Manager Dow Building Solutions Russia/CIS said: "Our presence at Mosbuild will be very practical, with a variety of application demonstrations covering thermal insulation, textile membranes, a new PU adhesive and montage foam.
