Dow's plant in Norrköping started up in 1974 and has two production plants: Latex and STYROFOAM*.

The paper industry uses Latex to obtain the highest quality paper and most durable print. Latex is used in coatings for fine paper, publication papers and paperboard.

STYROFOAM* is Dow's registered trademark for an extruded polystyrene insulation. This is a highly efficient insulating material that is light, strong and moisture resistant. STYROFOAM* is used in many different areas: frost insulation of roads, railroads and airport runways and as insulation in the building business.
