The Safety and health of employees, contractors and residents is given the highest priority at the Rhine Center, as it is at all Dow sites. Constant training and practiced responsibility for all employees guarantees a high degree of safety awareness. In addition, the Rhine Center has developed special programs and initiatives to guarantee the safety of its products, following manufacturing, during transport and upon arrival at our customers.

The Rhine Center follows the principle of ”Prevent, Reduce, Recycle.” All production plants are up to date in terms of the latest technology, and special attention is paid to environmental protection. As early as 1977, Rheinmünster had its own biological water treatment plant.

Since 1997, an environmental management system has been in place at the Rhine Center, which meets the DIN EN ISO 14001 standard and is similar to an “Eco-Audit“. Companies adhering to this system voluntarily have their environmental protection program audited so as to continually improve their performance.
