Silverton is the administrative head office of the Southern Africa LBU and all commercial activities (Crop SA and Africa, Speciality and Efekto is conducted from this site. Research and Developement (R&D), marketing, customer service and administrative functions are also based on this site.

Silverton, East of Pretoria, is located in a semi-industrial area. The SA parliament building is situated in the capital city of Pretoria.

The Silverton site was acquired during 1945 by the founders of Agricura; who started as an animal care business and over the years expanded into crop-, industrial- and other chemicals, seeds, animal feeds, pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals.
