Midland, MI - April 05, 2005

Dow announced today the launch of two new web sites for ethylene oxide (EO) and ethylene glycol (EG). Located at www.DowEO.com and www.DowEG.com, the web sites enable Dow to service customers with the latest news and information about its products and their applications.

"In a truly global economy, the Internet is a most effective way for communicating with our customers in all geographic regions," said Earl Shipp, global business vice president for Dow's Oxides and Glycols. "These new sites allow us to better reach our customers and provide them with the product and application support they need to be successful in the marketplace."

The sites provide access to Dow EO/EG news releases and directions for contacting Dow and will point visitors to relevant industry links for EO and EG.
