Title: Site Logistics Operations Leader

Ragen is the Operations Leader for Site Logistics at the Prentiss Site in Alberta Operations (Canada). Named to this role in March 2015, Ragen remains a member of the Prentiss leadership team and has responsibility for leading the Prentiss Site Logistics team to meet the needs of both Dow and MEGlobal. Ragen is responsible for loading and shipment of the Dow Polyethylene and MEGlobal Glycol products and raw products brought onto site by railcar. Ragen is responsible for a team of 8 Dow and contingent staff, as well has responsibility for 3 Contractor groups with about 80 employees.

In 2012, she started her role as EH&S Delivery Leader and was an integral part of ensuring the safety of work processes, standards and procedures at the Prentiss Site. From 2010 to early 2013 she supported the Prentiss site as the Project Engineer. In addition, she is the local 4H Ambassador and part of the Prentiss Community Advisory Panel helping to keep members informed of the site’s environmental, health, and safety operations and answered questions about issues or concerns from local residents. She is also a member of the Alberta Operations WIN chapter.

Ragen received her Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Saskatchewan in May 2003. After graduating, she joined Dow at Engineering Solutions in Fort Saskatchewan. For more than a decade, she has enhanced her engineering expertise by providing leadership to multi–discipline teams at both the Nova Chemicals Corporation and Dow and is a Registered Professional Engineer with APEGA. Ragen lives in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada with her husband and two children.
