Lisa Callender, is the Global Supply Chain Manager for the Fungicides Business of DowAgrosciences. Lisa is responsible for ensuring the global supply of Fungicide products to meet the $525MM sales plan, while also improving the efficiency and reliability of the global supply chains. Lisa is a member of the business management team and helps define the future strategy of the Fungicides portfolio.
Lisa joined Dow in June 2003 as a Process Engineer in Midland Engineering Solutions, in Midland MI; where she worked on a variety of projects within Michigan Operations, including Project SMART. In 2006, she joined the Dow Wolff Cellulosics Tech Center as a Process Automation Engineer to follow Project SMART through construction and start-up. In 2009, Lisa assumed the role of Production Coordinator for Midland Herbicides F&P Solids Formulation (1000 Building) and led the facility through significant changes in production demand while improving production metrics and impacting personal safety performance. Lisa then became Operations Leader for the Herbicides F&P block (489/1000) in 2011 where she was actively engaged in working to improve the culture and EH&S performance of the facility. In June of 2013, Lisa moved into her current role in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Lisa also serves as a member of the DAS WIN Steering team and is the Cross Functional Team Captain of the Dow Penn State Recruiting Team. She is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt Project Leader and Black Belt. Lisa is also the 2013 recipient of the Early Career Alumni Recognition Award in Chemical Engineering from The Department of Chemical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Gannon University.
