Eddy Setiawan, is the President of Dow in Southeast Asia. In his geography role, Eddy spearheads Dow’s business growth in the ASEAN region and provides leadership oversight for transforming the company’s business portfolio, organization and delivering on growth potential in the region.
Eddy began his career with Dow Indonesia in 1995 and held various commercial roles for Performance Plastics for Indonesia, Thailand and the Pacific. In 2002, he relocated to Singapore and was named Asia Pacific Product Manager for a number of different Performance Plastics value centers and Area Marketing Manager for food & specialty packaging.
In late 2003, Eddy was named Commercial Director for the European aromatics business and relocated to Dow’s Europe headquarters in Switzerland. In 2006, he took on responsibilities as global business director for aromatics. Three years later, he was appointed global business director for chlorinated organics and relocated to Dow’s global headquarters in Midland, Michigan. In 2011, Eddy relocated back to Singapore to assume the current role.
Eddy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the Institut Teknologi Bandung in Indonesia and a Masters of Business Administration from Northwood University Richard Devos Graduate School of Management.
