Chris Griffith is the Operations Leader for the Oxide Adducts and Chemical Mixing plants in West Virginia Operations. As a part of this role, Chris is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership within each plant and direct leadership for the operators in each facility. Chris is also the Enterprise Reliability leader for the site and is responsible for developing a reliability centered culture and delivering reliability and efficiency improvements throughout WVO.

Prior to being named to his current position, Chris has filled the following roles:

January 2012 – December 2013: Operations Leader for the Gum Base and Chemical Mixing Plants in West Virginia Operations.
Responsibilities: Oversaw the day to day operations of each plant as well as led the integration of the Gum Base Plant into the Performance Monomers business (the Gum Base Plant was previously unallocated). Eventually, due to a change in business conditions, Chris led the shutdown and decommissioning of the Gum Base Plant.

March 2009 – December 2011: Operations Leader for the Cellosize & Polyox Plants (Dow Wolff Cellulosics).
Responsibilities: Oversaw the day to day operations of the Cellosize and Polyox plants and provided direct leadership for the operators in both facilities. Chris also led the implementation of IPS (Integrated Performance System) for both plants.

January 2008 – February 2009: Improvement Engineer for the Oxide Adducts Plant (PS&F Business)
Responsibilities: Led the PS&F Asset Capability Network, completed the Oxide Adducts LOPA evaluation and identified, scoped and implemented improvement projects within the plant.

July 2003 – December 2007: Run Plant Engineer for the Oxide Adducts Plant (PS&F Business)
Responsibilities: Served as the run-plant engineer, Process Safety/Reactive Chemicals Technical Resource, GMISS Focal Point and Asset Utilization Focal Point.
