LEADERSHIP IN ACTION

The novel Leadership in Action program combines talent development with corporate citizenship in a fresh and effective way. Through collaboration between Dow Human Resources and DowCorps, our skills-based employee engagement program, 35 to 45 employees a year are organized into multidisciplinary teams. Each team is paired with a non-governmental organization to develop solutions to a specific challenge for a community in the developing world. Participants work virtually for several months, then assemble in the community for one week of intense, productive solution development. The result is progress for the community, exceptional training for the employees, and business penetration into new markets for Dow.
