Dow Launches RESILITY™ Resins at the 2017 International Rotational Molding Exposition

Houston - September 26, 2017 - Dow Packaging and Specialty Plastics, a business unit of DowDupont Materials Science, has launched RESILITY™ Innovative Rotomolding Resins, designed to meet the diverse demands of rotomolding applications without sacrificing strength, integrity or performance. This next generation of solutions combined with the collaborative fabrication and testing facilities of Dow’s Pack Studios offers a wide range of opportunities to accelerate development and differentiate products.

Key characteristics of RESILITY™ include improved UV and weathering protection as well as durable and vibrant colored parts. For rotomolders, RESILITY™ provides wide processing windows and fast cycle times in addition to resin stability, which creates opportunities to downgauge, reduce plate out and increase regrind incorporation.

Our XUS 58441.00 Experimental Soft Touch Copolymer within the RESILITY™ product family was recently recognized as a 2017 R&D 100 Award finalist. This technology combines soft touch and feel with resistance to impact, slip and abrasion, offering a differentiated solution for products such as toys, furniture, grips and non-slip surfaces.
