Polymer Emulsions

Liquid bases and polymer emulsions used to create latex paints can become a breeding ground for microorganisms. Microbial growth in latex paints can compromise the quality of the coating, leading to loss of viscosity, poor stability, gas formation, discoloration and foul odors.

Our wide spectrum of preservative products is easy to incorporate into polymer emulsions to inhibit bacterial and fungal growth to help keep paints stable and preserved. With excellent chemical stability in latex systems, our in-can preservatives provide advanced performance and flexibility for polymer emulsion protection.
