To improve the resource efficiency of our own operations, Dow has established goals for waste avoidance, greenhouse gas emissions reduction, material reuse or recycling, water and energy conservation. Our manufacturing facilities are accredited to ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard.

Vegetarian and vegan products are growing trends due to concerns for human health, animal welfare, and sustainability. Fighting Food Waste

One third of the food produced in the world for human consumption— approximately 1.3 billion tons — goes to waste every year. Meanwhile, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), approximately 795 million people are undernourished globally. Food waste not only leads to millions of hungry people and wasted resources; it also needlessly produces greenhouse gas emissions which contribute to global warming.
