Step 1: Before you apply

Before searching for specific jobs, take the opportunity to explore Dow’s website and learn more about the company. Here, you can find a variety of information about Dow’s most recent news & happenings, our values, corporate culture and more! All of these are powerful tools at your disposal—helping you to find your fit here at Dow.


Step 2: Getting started

The first step to finding your place here at Dow is to narrow down your search by the geographic region in which you are interested in working. Upon selecting the geographic region of your choice, you will be able to view a list of open jobs. If you narrow the search by geography but do not see any available opportunities that fit with your background or interests, you may still join our Talent Community or create or update a professional profile to receive job alerts or allow you to easily apply once you find a job that fits. The professional profile will allow you to receive automatic email notifications of new positions that match your preferences.


Step 3: Applying

Once you narrow down jobs by geography, you can use the search option filters to identify a positions of interest. If you are a first-time applicant, you will be asked to create a profile. After creating a user ID, you can important information from your LinkedIn account to expedite the process. Next, complete the online form and answer the questions posted as part of the pre-screen process. Complete the online form and answer the questions posted as part of the prescreen process. Step 4: Acknowledgement

Upon applying for a position, you will receive an email from Dow acknowledging your application. We will contact you if we need more information from you as well as keep you posted on the status of your application.


Step 4: Screening

> We will review your profile and any attachments you provide against our job requirements. Candidates that best fit with the position may be asked to participate in a phone screen allowing us to obtain more information about you. This will also be an opportunity for you to assess Dow's fit for you.


Step 5: Interview

If you're invited for an interview, we will provide further information on the venue and timing. The number of interviews and how they are conducted vary by position, though most interviews will take place at the Dow site where the job opening is located. You may be asked to interview with a representative from HR or a business/function, or both. Step 6: Informing Candidates of Decision & Employment Offer

You will hear back from us regarding an employment decision upon completion of all interviews. Your employment offer will feature information on the job position, salary and benefits. Though it may vary by role, the entire application process may take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks. Once interviews are complete, we will extend offers to the candidate(s) that we feel are the best fit at that particular time. We receive many great applications for each role – if you find that you are not selected, we hope that you consider applying for future job opportunities at Dow.
