Meet Our Site Leader

Ryan McGill is the Site Leader for Texas City Operations (TCO) and Production Leader for the ES/EOB/SynGas area.

Ryan McGill joined The Dow Chemical Company as a production engineer in the Oxide Derivatives Plant in Midland, Michigan after graduating with a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Akron in 1989 and an MS in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University in Flint, MI in 1998.

In 1999, Ryan relocated to Dow AgroSciences headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana and served in a variety of supply chain leadership roles, including the North America supply chain integration of the Rohm and Haas agricultural business in 2001.

Ryan relocated to Harbor Beach, Michigan in 2004 as the production leader for Dow AgroSciences’ spinosad facility later adding the roles of site leader and business manufacturing leader representative for the growth insecticides portfolio in Dow AgroSciences.

In 2008, Ryan became the production leader for the St. Charles Operations acrylics, acrolein, and SPU facility in Hahnville, Louisiana. Following the acquisition of Rohm and Haas by Dow Chemical in 2009, Ryan relocated to Deer Park, Texas as the production leader for HT acrylics.

Most recently, Ryan joined the Performance Materials Division in early 2012 as the division EH&S and Process Safety Director responsible for EH&S and process safety performance across all assets within the business portfolio.

Ryan, his wife Kris, and children Shannon, Nicole, and Eric are residents of Friendswood, Texas.
