Dow Increases Prices for Emulsion Polymers for Paper and Paperboard in North America

Midland, MI - June 03, 2008

Effective June 3, 2008, or as contracts permit, Dow is increasing prices for all styrene butadiene(S/B) latex products by US$0.20/lb(dry); for all hollow plastic pigment latex products by US$0.20/lb (dry); and for styrene acrylate and vinyl acrylate products by US$0.20/lb (dry) sold by Dow Emulsion Polymers to customers in the United States and Canada serving the paper and paperboard industry.
