Dow Europe Announces Price Increase for Latex

Horgen, Switzerland - May 18, 2007

Effective June 1, 2007, or as contract terms allow, Dow Europe GmbH will increase the price of styrene/butadiene latex sold to the paper and carpet industries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India, by EUR 60 per dry metric ton. Continued escalation in raw materials, energy and transportation costs are key reasons for the increase.
