Dow Elastomer materials available today for under-the-hood applications:

  • NORDEL™ IP Hydrocarbon Rubber for belts
  • NORDEL™ MG Hydrocarbon Rubber and TYRIN™ Chlorinated Polyethylene for automotive hoses
  • TYRIN™ elastomers for automotive "rubber" applications including power steering, engine oil cooler, and transmission oil cooler hoses; fuel hose covers; vacuum and emission tubing; and in automotive air management system "air ducts"
  • TYRIN™ EXT 1000 CM is a new product designed to accept higher levels of filler and oil than traditional CM grades, while maintaining excellent physical properties
