Dow’s recent breakthrough in polyolefin technology has resulted in the production of new polymers that have unprecedented performance while offering both sustainability and a lower overall system cost.  Dow will be commercially manufacturing these distinct polymers under the trade name INFUSE™ Olefin Block Copolymers (OBC). INFUSE is an ideal solution for these non-woven applications:  diapers, feminine hygiene, and adult incontinence.

  • Increased Mileage: High mileage due to aggressive bonding and lower density, resulting in less product required to achieve the same peel level as competitive products.
  • Low Application Temperature: Low application temperatures can improve overall production environment and lead to reduced costs with the down gauging of the back sheet.
  • Clean and Char Free: Clean and char-free processing resulting in reduced maintenance costs due to less time and money to change filters and nozzles
  • Ease of Application: Excellent shear and viscosity stability translates into precise and consistent fine lines, spiral spray and intermittent slot die adhesive patterns.

Today, ENGAGE™ EG 8200  and INFUSE™ offer validated solutions in core stabilization and diaper construction adhesives in a variety of application methods including fine line, spiral spray, slot die and intermittent slot die.
