Darrell Zavitz is the Vice President of Customer Services, PP&C and Market Facing Shared Services.
In his Shared Services role, Zavitz is responsible for shaping functional strategies necessary to support the business objectives of the Performance Plastics & Chemicals portfolio in regards to Supply Chain, Procurement, IT and Customer Service capabilities. Dow’s strength in integration of work process and technology is combined with the unique capabilities available in the market to support an ever increasing need to differentiate Dow to its customers.
In his Customer Services role, Zavitz is responsible for Customer Services globally and facilitates customer focus across all functions in the Order to Cash work process. Dow’s international presence requires significant focus on compliance to international trade, and regulatory agencies. He is also responsible for Dow’s strategy in using eBusiness in buying, selling and logistics processes. He currently sits on the Board of Elemica®, the chemical industry’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) hub.
His career at Dow includes past global responsibilities for leading Dow’s implementations of SAP® and Siebel®. In addition Zavitz served as Director of IT for Dow Europe and for Dow’s global Styrenics and Engineered Products business group which was headquartered in Horgen, Switzerland.
He is a graduate of the University of Guelph in Guelph, Canada.
