Mack Murrell serves as vice president of Information Systems (I/S), Lab & Office Facilities Management (LOFM) and the Project & Support Center (PSC), an operating unit of Dow Business Services.
In his role with the PSC, Murrell is responsible for ensuring delivery of high quality, low cost IT expertise, systems support and project management capabilities.As vice president of Dow's global I/S organization, Murrell oversees all I/S activities, including infrastructure and core application services, IT project delivery, portfolio management and global operations. He is currently leading a significant IT architecture upgrade that will support Dow's corporate transformation for years to come.
Murrell also provides global leadership for the LOFM function, which delivers lab and office facility services and solutions that emphasize safety, performance, sustainability and cost management.
During his career at Dow, Murrell has been responsible for the ideation, design and development of large-scale change programs critical to company initiatives. He has also been an active participant in several IT industry organizations, including the IT Research Board, and in cyber security activities for the American Chemical Council.
Murrell currently sits on the board of directors of the Arnold Center, a Midland agency that provides employment and training assistance for people with disabilities.
Murrell earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston and a master's degree from the University of Saint Thomas. He is located in Midland, Michigan.
