Jens Garby is director, Business Services for The Dow Chemical Company. He is a member of the Business Services Leadership Team and is responsible for Order To Cash work processes and IT solutions. In his Business Services leadership capacity, Jens has global responsibility for functions including Customer Service (Expertise Center, Improve and Support and Business Process Service Centers) as well as eBusiness platform and services, Market Sell services and Business Information services.
Jens began his Dow career in 1979 in Denmark in chemicals sales, after receiving his commercial degree from the University of Boras in Sweden. He has had numerous career assignments in Sales and Marketing management for both the Chemicals and Plastics businesses with geographic assignments in the Nordic region, Germany and the United Kingdom. Since beginning his career in sales, Jens has held leadership positions in Human Resources, Marketing, Customer Interface and the Commercial Expertise Center before transitioning to his current roles in 2007.
Jens lives in Horgen, Switzerland, the headquarters of Dow Europe, where he and his wife enjoy golf, sailing and skiing.
