  SINPROCIM Award
Dow Wolff Cellulosics receives SINPROCIM award for
best water retention
At a ceremony in São Paulo/Brazil November 6, Dow Wolff Cellulosics (DWC) Construction received Prêmio de Melhor Retentor de Água (“Best Water Retainer Award”) from Sinprocim (Union of the Industry of Cement Products of the State of São Paulo) and Sinaprocim (National Union of the Industry of Cement Products).

The core team that achieved this important milestone was comprised of many DWC support people, represented at the ceremony by Fernando Brea (TS&D), Roberta Cruz (ITO), Aline Kole (Supply Chain Planner), Ana Koelle (Communications), Franklin Carvalho (Sales), and Heloisa Wadt (Sales Distribution), who accepted the award together with Roberta Costa Issa (LAA Marketing Construction and Paint).

Prêmio de Qualidade (“Quality Award”) is granted on a biennial basis and is the major recognition given to companies that operate in the civil construction segment and to raw material suppliers. The objective is to recognize and announce the work and dedication of cement producers, raw material suppliers, resellers and developers and the initiatives related to the improvement of their quality and productivity systems.

In addition to the institutional recognition, Sinprocim/Sinaprocim also recognized the involvement of notable corporate and public personalities in the Production Chain of the Construction Industry.

Ibope (Brazilian Institute of Public Opinion and Statistics) carried out the survey that identified the prize winners, based on five criteria: commercial services, technical information and guidance for applications, promptness in deliveries, presale and post-sale technical assistance and certified quality in compliance with technical standards.

DWC was awarded with Troféu Vitória (“Victory Trophy”), together with other companies such as Eternit, Grupo Falcão Bauer, Gafisa, Gerdau, Votorantim Cimentos, Weber Quartzolit, and others.

“This award confirms the construction market’s recognition of our cellulosic technology and reinforces Dow’s commitment to being close to customers by meeting the most diverse needs and surpassing their expectations”, summarizes Roberta Costa Issa, LAA Marketing Manager Construction and Paint.
