METHOCEL™ food gums are water-soluble thickeners and stabilizers. They have the unique property of reversible gelling during heating. For optimum results, we offer a broad range of viscosity grades (15 to over 200,000 mPas) and different forms of solubility. Not only are they hugely versatile, offering maximum processing flexibility, but they also offer unique physical properties, like reversible thermal gelation, where they hydrate efficiently in cold water and gel when heated.

Clear+Stable™ is a very efficient thickener for providing cost-effective cold viscosity with flawless transparency and taste neutrality. As it temporarily loses viscosity during heating, it is especially suited for food products undergoing pasteurization processes. It is available in a very broad range of cold viscosities. Clear+Stable™ grades have been uniquely optimized for perfect stability and enhanced protein protection in acidic food products.
