Tile adhesive is applied or combed on evenly with a smoothing trowel or tile adhesive comb. (The details, in particular test methods and classification, are cpntained in the respective codes and standards.)
Tile adhesives require a high water retention capability to cope with the various application methods, layer thickness and surfaces to be tiled.
