Melt Extrusion & Melt Coating

Low molecular weight grades of POLYOX™ Water-Soluble Resins, NF Grade (POLYOX WSR N-10 NF, WSR N-80 NF, WSR N-750 NF resins) have good flow characteristics and can be used in conventional melt extrusion equipment. Higher molecular weight grades (POLYOX WSR-301 NF, WSR-303 NF, and WSR Coagulant NF) may be used in combination with plasticizers to achieve successful processing. Polymer blends of POLYOX resins, polyvinyl acetate, polymethyl methacrylate, polyacrylic acid, cellulose, polyurethane, PCL, and polyvinyl alcohol expand the range of possibilities.
