What is “fearless accountability?”

“Fearless accountability” is about setting goals, carefully tracking progress against those goals, and sharing the final results both internally and externally. That’s how Dow ensures that diversity and inclusiveness are more than just words, but rather the core of how we conduct our business.

To assess our progress in building and sustaining a diverse and inclusive culture, Dow has established three specific corporate diversity goals – each with clearly identified, measurable results:

  • To be the “Employer of Choice” in strategic markets where we recruit talent.
  • To develop a workforce that reflects the populations we recruit from in the places we do business today and tomorrow. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring that women, ethnic minorities in the US, people with disabilities and Asian citizens are represented in our leadership levels.
  • To measure and contribute to creating a workplace characterized by respect and where people value diverse perspectives.
