Tg vs. Cure

The glass transition temperature, T_g, of a material should be higher than any subsequent processing or use temperature. The T_g of CYCLOTENE* resins is determined by the % cure. If CYCLOTENE resin is cured at a relatively low temperature (ca. 200ºC) the T_g will be approximately 200ºC. If the temperature of the structure is raised to > 200ºC, the T_g of the CYCLOTENE resin will increase as the temperature is raised.
