2-Ethylhexyl Acetate (2EHA) is widely used in the leather industry in lacquers and seasoning agents that improve the physical fastness properties of leather and leather like materials. 2-Ethylhexyl Acetate is a high boiling solvent with mild odour, low surface tension and excellent nitrocellulose solvency property. 2EHA allows good penetration and levelling of lacquers.
