John B. Hess Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Hess Corporation; Member of the Board of Directors

John B. Hess was elected to the Dow Board of Directors in October 2006, and serves on the Compensation Committee.

Mr. Hess has been with Hess Corporation for a period of 28 years.  He was elected CEO and Chairman of Hess Corporation in 1995.  Hess Corporation is a global integrated energy company engaged in the exploration for and production and sale of crude oil and natural gas, as well as the production and sale of refined petroleum products.
